Here’s the boundary condition: I’ve found Weyerhaeuser’s value is clearest when you’re designing for performance—span ratings, moisture exposure, or warranty-backed claims. For cosmetic-only uses where any panel will do, you’re overpaying.
That said, I once chose a cheaper OSB for a dry interior wall project. The installer complained it cut inconsistently and had more voids than Weyerhaeuser’s.
